July 25th 2022

Two bright fireballs were observed from Calar Alto Observatory in Almería on July  20^th and 24^th 2022.

First one took place at 21h39 UT of July 20^th, while the second one happened at 22h05 UT of July 24^th.

Both fireballs flew above east skies, but unfortunately no other data could be gathered from these phenomena.

Anyway, some Calar Alto Observatory external cameras registered both objects.

July 11th 2022

On the night of July 10^th, at 02h19 UT, a bright fireball flew above Mediterranean coasts in front of Algeria coasts.

The object was registered with the SMART Project detectors operated at Calar Alto (Almería), Huelva, La Hita (Toledo), La Sagra (Granada), Sierra Nevada (Granada) and Seville observatories.

Two of the externa cameras located at Calar Alto Observatory in Almería, could also follow this event.

July 1th, 2022

At 21h58 UT of  June 30^th  2022, a bright and beautiful fireball could be seen from the province of Malaga crossed the sky in the direction of the province of Cordoba (north) leaving a spectacular trail of light for those lucky enough to see it.

This object was registered with the SMART Project's detectors operated at Calar Alto (Almería), La Sagra (Granada), El Arenosillo (Huelva), La Hita (Toledo), OSN, Sevilla, and El Aljarafe.

This time, two of the external surveillance webcams operated at Calar Alto Observatory in Almería, also recorded the nice event.

June 21st 2022

Last night of June 20^th 2022, at 22:31 UT, the reentry of one of the stages of the Chinese rocket Zheng 2F (CZ-2F) caused beautiful fireworks over the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea in front of the coasts of southern Spain and Portugal, and also west and north coasts of Morocco.

This event was registered with the SMART Project detectors operated at Calar Alto (Almería), Sierra Nevada, La Sagra (Granada), El Aljarafe and La Hita (Toledo) Observatories.

Despite the haze and the clouds, three of the Calar Alto Observatory (Almería) external cameras could also follow this object.

June 10th, 2022

At 00h11 UT of  June 10^th  2022, a bright fireball could be seen from the province of Malaga that crossed the sky in the direction of Seville (northwest).  

This object was registered with the SMART Project's detectors operated at Calar Alto (Almería), La Sagra (Granada), El Arenosillo (Huelva), La Hita (Toledo), OSN, Sevilla, and El Aljarafe.

This time, two of the external surveillance webcams operated at Calar Alto Observatory in Almería, also recorded the nice event.
