On the night of September 21, at 20:27:59 UT, a bright fireball crossed the skies over the Porto region in Portugal. This event was recorded from the observatories of Calar Alto (Almería), Sierra Nevada, La Sagra (Granada), La Hita (Toledo), Seville, and La Coruña.

What is most remarkable is that the phenomenon was captured by the cameras of the Calar Alto Observatory, located in Almería, about 600 kilometers away in a straight line. This demonstrates the capability of the SMART Project detectors, which can register fireballs not only over Andalusia, but across practically the entire sky of the Iberian Peninsula.
