SHUTDOWN
This section describes how to shutdown PMAS before dismounting it from the telescope.

  • quit pics_gui and pics_ag, enter on IDL prompt :
      •          Pmas> pics_shutdown,e
  • exit IDL and shutdown rike from unix prompt, type : 
      •          Pmas> exit
               rike:~/idl > su - goodbye
    - superuser password required !
  • Switch off PMAS Electronics MAIN SWITCH
  • Disconnect PMAS  230VAC  and LAN cables
    Note: Do not leave PMAS unconnected from 230VAC longer than necessary ( CCD cryostats unregulated ! )
