Howto #06

Problem: SPEC Camera CCD Controller hangs.

Diagnostic :

SPEC CCD Controller does not respond as expected, see "traffic lights" status window (no readout, not shutter, error messages on green SPEC CCD Controller Status Window, ...).

Explanation :

This happens only very rarely (for unknown reasons).

Solution :

Kill pics_gui.
Go to the green ag CCD Controller message window, type Ctrl-C to terminate the current error status. Restart CCD controller by entering:
```
s_start_ace
```
For mosaic KAM05 type
```
s_start_ace_mosaic
```
Go to SPEC IDL window, type:
```
pics_init,e,/q
```
For mosaic:
```
pics_init,e,/q,out=10
```
```
pics_gui
```
